Locum Opportunity: Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Are you a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant seeking a long-term locum tenens assignment? We have an opening near Orick, CA that might be a great fit for you. Job Details: Specialty: Family Medicine Department: Family Medicine Start Date: 12/11/2023 End Date: 03/11/2024 Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only Practice Setting: Outpatient Board Certification: Eligible (Certification required) Patients Per Shift: 18 Facility Details: Chart closure within 72 hours Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Mix of pediatric and adult patients Decision typically made within 7-14 days APCs with 3 years of experience in a similar setting PAs must have a CA Controlled Substance Education Course Certificate NPs must have a Furnishing License with Schedules II Active DEA needed before the start Credentialing takes 30-90 days Requirements: ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications Active license in California Credentialing Details: Immunizations required for credentialing: 2022-2023 Flu Vaccine TB Status/X-Ray Results (results must be within 90 days before the start date) Positive MMR Titer or Complete Immunization Series Positive Hep B Titer or Complete Immunization Series Positive Varicella Zoster Titer or Complete Immunization Series Tdap Immunization (must be within the last 10 years) Covid-19 Vaccine no longer required This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a diverse patient population.
